Salvation is not just God’s free gift by His grace, it is personified in Christ and if you have Him as your Lord, then you have eternal life and are free from oppression.
Today we are being reminded that the Most High, the Almighty God, is our ultimate source of protection and security, regardless of what kind of threats and challenges we might have to face in life.
Whatever situation you might have to face, God challenges you to open your mouth and declare His sovereignty over whatever ‘nation’ is surrounding you.
Just as the most intimate conversations and interactions normally occur in secluded and private spaces, God invites us into His ‘secret place’ where we can constantly revel in His providence and protection.
God reassures us today that unlike people who might not be able to act when we call for help, God is attentive to the concerns and desires of His loved ones and will respond whenever we call upon Him.
Despite the plethora of things that cause people to be afraid, we, who believe in the Almighty God, are reminded that it’s an offence against heaven to be chronically afraid when we have Him as our ever-present Protector.
The same Almighty God who did carry His people on eagles’ wings through challenging times, reassures of us today of His divine care and providence regardless of whatever circumstances we’re facing.
