God’s perpetual, loyal and steadfast love or affection for His people is one of the most powerful pictures of how God relates to His Church, despite her apparent imperfections.

God doesn’t want to be ‘Plan B’; He must always be ‘Plan A’ in our lives. If God is always our Plan A rather than Plan B or Plan C, then we’re needy and God can never disappoint us.

Our God is the great I AM. Anyone who denies His existence is like a naughty child who goes to Facebook and makes a post denying that the Internet exists.

Where would we be without the mercy of God? There is ample evidence that the Mercy of God is central to Old Testament theology and is the most important trait of God’s divine character.

From the time when man fell for the deceit of Satan, how to deal with sin has always been an insurmountable challenge for humanity. However, by His Grace, God provided a way out when He gave us His Son to be the perfect Ransom.

However much the devil and the gods of the world exalt themselves, there’s One who is greater than them all – the LORD God Jehovah – who lives on the inside of us and has set us over and above them all.

Whatever our race, status in society or age, we were created to worship God, which is the response of the heart and the spirit to the sovereignty of God.

Regardless of our attitude to politics, bad governance affects everyone for good or for worse. That’s why the Constitution gives all citizens, Christians or otherwise, specific civic rights, powers, duties and privileges to ensure the good governance of their country.
