God challenges to understand that true greatness isn’t about wielding earthly power and authority; rather, it is all about a humble and obedient heart that seeks to honor God in every aspect of life and influences others to do the same.

Whereas the aggregate stock of merciful people in the world is on a downward spiral, the merciful God expects His people to be clothed with mercy because at one time, everyone of us would need to be shown mercy.

In an increasingly secularised and capitalistic world with conflicting worldviews and value systems, there is an urgent need for devout Christians to hunger and thirst God’s kingdom and righteousness.

In a world full of self-conceit, arrogance and self-centeredness, God is calling every one of us to conform to Christ’s character of meekness.

Instead of shunning mourning, let’s appreciate its theological context, acknowledging the reality of human suffering while affirming faith in God’s sovereignty and Providence.
